This year LOTE has been focused on a region of interest that was highlighted by previous surveys. In In collaboration with Croatian archaeologists, researchers from the University of Split, and diving experts from Rostrum, the team conducted a series of remote sensing and diver surveys over an important submerged prehistoric landscape off the coast of Split. The research was very successful and has increased our understanding of the use of the landscape by Ice Age cultures and how inundation affects the archaeology of this region. We look forward to more interesting results from this area !
